NaturalFlow Overview
An introduction to the NaturalFlow wastewater system
An introduction to the NaturalFlow wastewater system
NaturalFlow; revolutionising domestic water waste and sewage treatment processes in New Zealand, using Tiger Worms to decompose organic waste. Nature is one huge recycling mechanism. The NaturalFlow system utilises these recycling mechanisms of nature by, harnessing its forces that have been quietly working together for thousands of years, to break down and decompose waste all around us, and positions them in an enclosed eco-system module that simulates the natural forest floor.
It will treat and break down your wastewater – just as nature does – and then reintroduce it into the environment when it is perfectly safe to do so.
Being the natural choice for long-term value, NaturalFlow systems are designed for lower running costs and longevity, using natural power-free aerating processes – as opposed to mechanical pumps. If your property has adequate slope, the treated wastewater can be gravity-fed to the land application field, meaning the disposal process can be power-free also. So, with simple, straightforward installation and operation, NaturalFlow is cost effective from day one, and a great choice for those wanting to minimise power consumption and reduce their impact on the environment.
Inspired by ‘Nature’ and with no power required in the treatment processes, NaturalFlow systems work away silently and are designed for lower-running costs and longevity.
Using an eco-smart twist on sewage treatment NaturalFlow uses the powerful and sustainable forces of nature to treat your water and save on power bills. Meaning there’s no power required in the treatment processes and on very flat sites a small pump is all that maybe needed to move the treated water from the NaturalFlow system to the Land Application Field. On sites with an adequate slope absolutely no power is needed.
Saving money from day one it’s a win for your wallet, a win for the environment and a win for the worms.
Watch videoNaturalFlow’s simple design leaves nature to do what it does best. A self-sustaining ecosystem of worms and other organisms breaks down waste naturally, with no interference. The treatment process is odourless and with the system housed beneath the ground it will soon blend in with its surroundings, hidden away.
This purpose-designed chamber, called the WORMORATOR®, separates solids from the liquid and treats them by way of vermiculture and other power-free, ecological processes.
The WORMORATOR mimics the forest floor, using mostly natural bark media to filter out the liquid and retain solids. Tiger worms then break down the residual solids and convert them into water-soluble nutrients.
Watch videoWith no power required in the treatment processes NaturalFlow systems are designed to be as robust as nature itself. Combining various forms of well researched and established passive treatments and natural processes, which are very proficient at treating sewage and wastewater.
NaturalFlow takes care of itself without constant monitoring and mechanical repairs, just like a natural ecosystem, giving you the chance to spend more time on the important areas in your life. You are assured of a robust, long-lasting system.
These low-maintenance, odourless wonders dodge the dreaded suck-outs and keep your backyard fresh for you to enjoy. Nice one.
NaturalFlow systems are built for life's surges, you know, those times when your house is full! Your worm colony naturally adapts to the ebbs and flows of household water usage, ensuring that your system remains unfazed and odourless, even at peak times.
This robust ecosystem deftly handles shock-loading, so an influx of guests never overwhelms your backyard's tranquillity, and naturally slows down during quiet periods - a great solution for holiday homes or any situation where intermittent usage is likely.
NaturalFlow is a modular system designed to suit your individual site needs. From primary through to secondary treatment, your system is designed for your specific site and your particular needs. With our expert Wastewater Engineers, you are assured of a system that works with optimal performance.
We can design a system big or small - whether it's a low-flow situation like a tiny home or holiday cabin, or a larger scale home or commercial property, NaturalFlow has you covered.
